Our Founders

Stephen Lowery

Stephen is a fully qualified chef who has owned and managed several cafes and establishments around the world. The Global Local will be using his recipes as well as his front and back of house operational skills to ensure that all cafes will be prepared from inception to the grand opening. Stephen is qualified in Professional Cookery of French Cuisine as well a recipient of the Telstra Business Award


Zoi has over 20 years within the retail industry. Specialising in financial management , she will be using her skills at The Global Local to support the franchisee for maximum profitability and improve processes. Zoi has also owned several cafes and establishments within the hospitality industry. Previously working as a business financial Planner or Merchandise Manager for Cotton On, Kmart, Country Road, Spotlight, Forever New and Kookai. Zoi is also recipient of the Telstra Business Award.
